Travel to Russia invites you to visit the northern Russian peninsula of Kamchatka, the Far Eastern Island of Sakhalin, and Baikal, the world's largest fresh water lake, where you will find some of the world's richest and most rejuvenating hot springs, health spas, and geothermal pools.
The volcanic nature of Kamchatka has created many thermal springs that differ from one another in temperature, mineral composition and medical characteristics. These hot springs are well known for their therapeutic qualities. Waters of springs are hydro-carbonate- chloride-sulfate sodium that contains silicic acid and bromine in small quantity also. Content of the gas is nitric. The geothermal ?beach? of Malki is situated in a picturesque valley of Kluchevha River (the left tributary of Bystraya River) that is protected on both sides by rolling hills. Here the cold river that flows through the hot springs serve as faucets, which can be turned on and off by private dams in order to control the temperature of the water
Rodnikovaya Base is famous for its self-heating mineral pools and cottages heated by the geothermal springs. More than 200 volcanoes and lakes that emanate hot water in giant puffs of vapour, cascades of waterfalls and ?wild? hot springs surround the base. You will enjoy this Russian exotic countryside while taking leisurely dips in the soothing waters between visits to Russian and Japanese banyas and saunas. We offer the Kamchatka excursion along with rafting down the Bystraya River, a favorite spot for locals to fish for trout and salmon. Fishing from the raft you will see the famous Russian brown bears as they search for salmon and the sea eagles that nest near the river.
